Our school Library is an inviting colourful place to foster the students’ love of reading. With a generous budget and commission from Scholastic Book Club and Book Fairs, we are able to keep up with current reading trends and have multiple copies of popular series. Mrs Hobson’s Story of the Week provides a read-aloud book for classes to enjoy and spark conversations about relevant topics.
Library Borrowing: Classrooms from Pre-primary to Year 6 are allocated a designated Library time each week for students to borrow and return books. If a student finishes their book early, or absent on their Library day, the Library is open Monday to Friday, before school from 8:30am to 8:45am and after school from 3:00pm to 3:15pm for borrowing.
Returns: The Library is open for returns anytime and can be placed on the returns desk as you enter the main door.
Library Bags: Students must have a protective waterproof library bag in order to borrow library books. Library bags are available for purchase in the school Uniform Shop.
