School Psychologist

The School Psychologist is primarily concerned with assisting us to enhance the emotional well-being and learning outcomes of children. They work with our Student Support Team, teachers, children and parents on an individual, group, whole school and across school level basis.  Our school has a psychologist allocated for two days per week.

Their role includes:

  • Collaborative consultation
  • Modelling
  • Counselling
  • Liasing with other agencies within the community
  • Student assessment e.g. classroom observation of behaviour and interactions, diagnostic apprasial of work samples, reading behaviours, oral language, etc
